It was at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia where I first heard a live wolf howl. And here, the gray wolves are very humanely treated, and occasionally let loose with a howl (either at the prompting of their fellow pack members, or the trainers and the audience in the wolf show)! And it's awwwwesoooome! (Moves right through you...)

Partly due to the zoom feature on my camera, and partly due to the fact that the stage is only seventeen feet from the viewing area. Heh heh.
